On April 5 and 6, 2017, Legrand, SFM and Trends co-hosted the Custom Integration Expo in Toronto. A big highlight of the event included the four free training sessions presented by the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA), a first since 2012, and included a session on emerging technology trends, led by David Meyer, the Director of Technical Curriculum at CEDIA and an industry professional with over two decades of experience.

Exhibitors included a mix of newcomers such as Cantrex, Kevro and JVC and returning ones such as Coastal Source Canada, Distinct Distributors, Product Solutions Group, and Techni-Contact.

“My team and myself were in attendance for both days, attended many events and talks, and were very satisfied with the event. Looking forward to future events!” mentioned a pleased attendee.

SFM’s 5th edition of the Custom Integration Expo focused on system integration and gave Canadian dealers the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the new products presented at the CEDIA Expo. New products on display included RTI’s KX10 In-Wall Touchpanel, KX3 In-Wall Touchpanel Keypad, XP-4 Control Processor, ZW9 Z-Wave Interface and Z-Wave Lighting Control Solutions, Luxul’s next generation of routers the XWR-3100, which incorporates its Roam Assist Technology and the new Just Add Power 4K over IP platform.

With over 300 scheduled attendees from 160 companies and a steady buzz on the floor, the expo was a huge success!
